Xiaomi introduces new Mi Max smartphone

The Chinese technology company Xiaomi has unveiled its new, large-screened Mi Max smartphone as well as a new version of its operating system, MIUI 8, based on Android. 

The 6.44in screen puts the smartphone among the larger "phablets" on the market. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's display measures 5.5 inches.
