Fast and furious: Sony claims the a6300 can focus and shoot faster than most mirrorless cameras on the market.

Looks like it’s the season to launch new cameras – in a surprise announcement, Sony has unveiled the a6300 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.

The a6300 features an all-new APS-C-sized 24-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor with what Sony calls a “4D” autofocus system – a fancy name for a sensor with 425 phase detect pixels – and 4K video recording at up to 100Mbps.
