Dutch navigator TomTom inks deal for maps for Uber

Partners in mobility: TomTom has announced a collaboration with Uber.

THE HAGUE: Dutch vehicle navigations systems maker TomTom said it has inked a deal with Uber to supply the US ride-sharing service’s drivers with maps in more than 300 cities globally. 

“TomTom has signed a global, multi-year agreement to provide maps and traffic data for the Uber driver app,” the Amsterdam-based TomTom said in a statement.
