Free to play: "Project Spark" is dropping microtransactions from Oct 5.

Microsoft's game creation suite Project Spark and Carbine's cartoon sci-fi MMO Wildstar have both become free to play, while Jagged Alliance Online has gone the other way.

Project Spark
Launched in December 2013 and capitalising on the good will towards PlayStation's LittleBigPlanet series, Project Spark aimed to provide an even more versatile approach to user-created content.
