Bearer of bad news: The 'Halo 5: A Hero Falls TV Commercial' announces the demise of the game's protagonist, Master Chief.

A new TV trailer for the highly anticipated Halo 5: Guardians videogame has been released by 343 Industries. 

The clip shows the announcement that the protagonist Master Chief, otherwise known as the soldier Spartan John-117, has died.
