The smart thermostat maker is sharing results from three separate energy-savings studies as proof that its device can save families serious money.
Two of the three studies in question hail from independent sources (the third was performed by Nest itself), but all three point to 10% to 12% savings on heating and a 15% cut in cooling bills for the average US household or, according to Nest's figures, US$131-US$145 (RM467-RM517) in utility bills savings a year.
