COMING BACK: Google announced on Jan 15 that it would be suspending sales of its prototype interactive spectacles "Google Glass" on Jan 19, but promised new versions in an unknown future.
SAN FRANCISCO: Google said it is halting sales of its Internet-linked eyewear Glass but insisted the technology would live on in a future consumer product.
The technology titan is putting brakes on an “explorer” programme that let people interested in dabbling with Glass buy eyewear for US$1,500 (RM5,371) apiece.
