Taking advantage of the media attention at E3, Electronic Arts finally revealed the launch date for the highly anticipated fourth edition of The Sims. The new version of the life simulation game will be available for PC from Sept 4.

Smarter, more expressive and more attractive than their predecessors, the next-generation Sims will arrive on PC in around three months. Since May 2013, the franchise’s millions of fans worldwide have eagerly awaited the fourth edition of the massively popular PC game.

In The Sims 4, the famous pixelated avatars have enhanced emotional intelligence, allowing them to interact more easily with one another. EA has also announced new tools and features that will make it easier for users to create and customise their avatars.

The new game is the follow-up to The Sims 3, which was launched in 2010. Over its 13 years of existence, The Sims has become the world’s best-selling PC game franchise, with over 175 million copies sold. — Relaxnews 2014
