Samsung has launched a tablet built specially for children, the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids. It has a kid-friendly user interface that’s intuitive, fun and is filled with educational content which the company claims is the first of its kind.

The parental controls have also been enhanced so that parents can control the apps they want their kids to access, and how much time they can spend on the device.

The other highlight is the newly introduced Kid’s Store which has over 600 exclusive apps designed for kids.

It even comes with a Kids Case, a protective cover that can handle hard knocks and houses a stylus for children named C-Pen. The case also has multiple stand options that makes it more comfortable for children to use.

The tablet has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 7in display, 3-megapixel camera, 8GB storage space and a large 4,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The WiFi-only Tab 3 Kids goes for RM799.
