KUALA LUMPUR: ICT solutions provider, Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has appointed Qantrex Corporation Sdn Bhd as the first distributor for its enterprise solutions.
The range of products and services which Qantrex will be distributing to the market include network infrastructure, unified communications and collaboration, intelligent video surveillance, network security, telepresence and video conferencing, server and storage and wireless LAN solutions.
Huawei’s network infrastructure solution includes a series of energy saving Datacomm switches which the company claims is easy to install and maintain whereas its intelligent video surveillance solutions consists of mobile, high definition products and services which have cloud collaboration capabilities.
Meanwhile, for its server and storage solution, the company is targeting clients who seek high bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-services aggregation. Large switching capacity and high density ports are provided using cutting edge hardware and Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform software.
As for its wireless LAN solution, Huawei will be focussing on meeting requirements such as wireless campus networks, public hotspot coverage and wireless data transmission.
