Planning for your holidays can now be practically fuss-free with the Smart Online Travel Assistant’s (SOTA’s) Virtual Travel Fair (VTF).

The online travel fair, which is held bi-annually, allows you to make travel plans without needing to leave the comforts of your home, let alone having to brave the bustling city traffic.

The fair, which will be going on until the 29th this month, will also feature an e-auction, with bidding prices starting from as low as RM10.

Various entrance tickets to places such as Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Aquaria KLCC, Universal Studios Singapore, Berjaya Times Square Theme Park, Sanria Hello Kitty Town & The Little Big Club, Sentosa 4D Magix and Legoland Malaysia will be put up for auction.

There are no limits to the number of bids that can placed per person throughout the duration of the e-auction. Auctioned tickets will go to the highest bidder by the end of the e-auction on March 29.

Winning bidders will receive a notification and e-invoice via e-mail and will need to make payment within 48 hours.

Those who are always on the go need not miss out on the action, as the e-auction can be accessed via their mobile devices too.

Meanwhile, travellers who spend a minimum of RM100 through VTF will stand a chance to win a 3D/2N stay at Macau worth RM7,000 (inclusive of flight tickets and accommodation).

So far, the fifth VTF has seen a 47.6% growth in the number of visitors as compared to last year’s.

In terms of the most popular traveller destinations in VTF, Australia has topped the list, followed by Pulau Tioman, Pahang; China; Thailand and Singapore. — Susanna Khoo
