Apple announces dates for 2012’s WWDC

Apple has confirmed that its 2012 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from June 11 to 15.

The WWDC is Apple’s annual developers’ conference and takes place in San Francisco; the focus of the conference will predictably centre on mobile and desktop operating systems iOS and Mac OS X Mountain Lion respectively. The conference will also host an awards event for the best iOS and Mac OS X apps.
