Harvey Norman to sell iPad

PETALING JAYA: The iPad is coming to town tomorrow and several vendors are expected to carry it.

Harvey Norman is the first to officially announce that the much-coveted device will be on sale at its six outlets starting Nov 30.

The consumer electronic shop will be selling all six versions of the iPad, including the 3G models. The starting price for the basic model, the iPad WiFi 16GB, is RM1,549.

The company claims that it is the only consumer electronic shop to carry Apple products in Malaysia. It carries a full selection of Mac products & accessories.

Harvey Norman, which is based in Australia, provides a wide range of electrical, computer, and furniture and bedding products.
