CYBERJAYA: Telecommunications networks provider Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is touting the benefits of Long Term Evolution (LTE) solutions to local telecommunications providers.
It said LTE — a fourth-generation (4G) wireless broadband technology — offers download speeds of up to 100Mbps (megabits per second), compared with up to 20Mbps for 3G and up to 40Mbps for WiMAX.
