KL International Airport (KLIA) is set to enchant travellers and visitors this festive season with its “Alice’s Adventures: A Magical Christmas” themed celebration.
Drawing inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the airport has been transformed into a whimsical wonderland.
In collaboration with the British Library, this setup blends the festive cheer with the timeless magic of Carroll’s beloved classic, offering a captivating holiday experience for travellers of all ages.
From now till Dec 31, travellers can step into a whimsical wonderland at KLIA, beginning with the playful “Gigantic Tea-Cup Ride,” inspired by Alice’s Mad Tea Party with the Hatter and March Hare. The journey continues with the mesmerising “Rabbit Hole Kaleidoscope” creating a vibrant, immersive experience, while the enchanting “Queen’s Rose Tunnel” invites travellers to capture memories against lush red roses reminiscent of the Queen’s Croquet-Ground.
Joyful celebration
The festive transformation extends beyond KLIA to Malaysia Airports’ other international airports – Penang International Airport (PIA), Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), Kuching International Airport (KIA) and Langkawi International Airport (LIA) – turning each into a world of wonder for the peak travel season.
Amid bustling terminals filled with families and holidaymakers, Malaysia Airports aims to create a magical, wonderland-inspired experience, where imagination flourishes and every corner invites awe and excitement.
Malaysia Airports commercial services senior general manager Hani Ezra Hussin said, “Working with the prestigious British Library, we are thrilled to bring this charming story to life at KLIA, combining the magic of Christmas with the timeless charm of Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland.
“This classic tale, with its nostalgic appeal for adults and creative, whimsical allure for children, is the perfect theme to captivate families traveling together.
“We wanted to create an experience that transports travellers into the imaginative world of wonderland, where Mad Hatters, White Rabbits and Cheshire Cats lead the way to ever-lasting memories.”

Malaysia Airports is spreading the holiday cheer with exclusive promotions for travellers at its international airports.
In collaboration with Maybank, travellers can enjoy perks specially curated for Maybank Mastercard Cardmembers to elevate the festive experience. Here’s what to look forward to:
