UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) continues to attract buyers for its new launches, including the recent Areca Terrace Phase 4B in Johor Baru.

The 20ft by 65ft freehold double-storey terrace houses with a build-area of 1,518sq ft, feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a porch for two cars as well as a terrace space that is fully extended.

More than that, the houses are designed with a minimalist concept while offering a harmonious balance between space, comfort and convenience, in line with UDA’s branding concept – “LIFE”, which stands for ‘Legacy,’ ‘Integrated,’ ‘Finesse,’ and ‘Enrich’.

The spacious homes were built for families, particularly newlyweds, first-time buyers, and those seeking an upgrade. They provide comfortable living spaces that encourage quality time with loved ones.

The Areca Terrace Phase 4B is priced from RM634,086 per unit. A total of 100 units are expected to be sold by the end of the year.

This follows the success of the 172 units Areca Terrace Phase 4A double-storey terrace houses which have been completely sold out – a testament of buyers confidence towards UDA.

According to UDA president and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Salem Kailany, whose speech was read by UDA group chief financial officer Zahrin Zakaria, the company is banking on the strategic location of its Bandar UDA Utama township to continue attracting buyers for its new launches.

“Located in a rapidly developing sustainable neighbourhood, the township is surrounded by various facilities including schools, banks, and shopping malls as well as recreational places within the 10 km radius and accessible via five main roads and highways in Iskandar Puteri, as well as good access to Singapore,” he said.

Zahrin also announced UDA’s exciting collaboration with Ikea Tebrau that offers Ikea gift cards worth RM60,000 to the first 30 buyers of Areca Terrace Phase 4B – subject to terms and conditions – to enhance their new homes with Ikea products.

A first of its kind partnership, the property developer also worked with the Swedish company to furnish its show unit in modern Scandinavian decor to help homebuyers envision their new homes in comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Various promotions are also offered by UDA for customers interested in purchasing Areca Terrace Phase 4B. They include a low down payment of RM1,000, legal fees for sale and purchase agreements and memorandum of transfer and legal fees for loan documents and mortgage forms.

A memorable launch

The launch of Areca Terrace Phase 4B was officiated by Johor Housing Development Corporation (PKPJ) chief executive Datin Paduka Dr Suhailizan Suliman.

Suhailizan, who represented Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi in his speech said UDA’s presence in Johor for almost 50 years has contributed in providing housing needs for the people in Johor.

It has developed 7,727 residential units and 618 commercial units since 1975 across Bandar Baru UDA, Bandar UDA Utama, Pusat Bandar Tampoi and Skudai Kanan.

“Various contributions have been given by UDA in the sector of real estate development and business in realising the government's aspirations to provide housing needs for all citizens in the state.

“The continuation of property development by UDA is carried out through the Areca Terrace Phase 4B project in Bandar UDA Utama. For those who may not meet the eligibility criteria or fall outside the B40 category for affordable housing ownership, the Areca project is highly suitable for you. We are aware that the state government also needs to expand housing products for all segments, including the M40 and T20 groups,” she said.

At the launch event, Ikea Tebrau held an Ikea MidSummer Carnival that saw families enjoying themselves over fun and creative activities and food. There were also free health checks by KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital, Ikea QR Shop and more.
