DURING the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, in a time when many businesses were shuttering their doors, Dr Neik Hiong Lee instead took on the challenge to take his brick-and-mortar business online.
The founder of LeSkin (LS) Clinic ventured online in March 2020 and by year-end, this bold move earned him a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records.
The Malaysia Book of Records is a body that recognises creators, holders and breakers of records in the country.
Not only was it crucial to pivot the business online, especially in these unprecedented times, providing quality service also played a big role.
He then broke his own Malaysia Book of Records in January 2021.
In the same year, he also managed to expand his clinics outside of Perak.
After a trip to Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur with his wife, Dr Neik saw an opportunity to expand.
With many outlets closing their doors for good, there was an increase in the availability of good locations, along with cheaper rental.
Thus, LS Clinic opened its first aesthetic clinic in Kuala Lumpur in November 2021 and will be under the purview of LS Clinic director Dr Jaswine Chew Sze Huey. Dr Chew and Dr Neik both obtained their Letter of Credential and Privilege (LCP) certificate in aesthetics. (1)
