KUALA LUMPUR: With the non-fungible token (NFT) scene steadily growing in Malaysia, comic publisher Kadokawa Gempak Starz (KGS) is determined to create a bang with their Gengkey NFT collection.
As KGS strives towards empowering the creative content industry, they are determined to create a dynamic NFT ecosystem – which uses blockchain to record ownership of digital assets – for everyone, from artists to brands and corporations, both locally and globally.
KGS has successfully combined NFT technology with the excitement of collectible cards, which is already extremely popular within the comic fanbase. Users can purchase the Gengkey NFT card packs via the Gempak Starz Online Store and redeem it at Trart.io.
Trart.io is an international NFT platform that is based on Flowchain and allows users to purchase NFT assets via selected cryptocurrency.
In conjunction with the 10.10 sale, KGS just released 20 card designs out of the total 100 planned in this series, which are all based on characters from their popular Gengkey comics. The release received great response from their fanbase and NFT enthusiasts in general.
Each pack includes five collectible cards; four static designs and one rare or super rare animated design. Only 1,010 card packs were released for a discounted price of RM10.10 per pack.
The popular comic publisher has plans to release four more batches very soon, which will be available on more platforms, either directly at Trart.io, or even on Shopee or Lazada.
Those interested can still purchase their own Gengkey NFT card packs from shop.gempakstarz.com today.
