Birthday boy Arvin and Co win bronze in swimming relay

BANGKOK: The national men’s 4x100 freestyle swimming team bagged themselves a bronze medal at the Thailand SEA Games on Sunday (Dec 14). 

The team of Khiew Hoe Yean, Arvin Shaun Singh Chalal, Lim Yin Chuen, and Terence Ng came in third with a time of 3:20.87s to see them clinch bronze. 

It's extra special for Arvin, as the medal is an early gift for him, who will turn 25 on Dec 15. 

Singapore clocked a new meet record of 3:16.65s, beating the previous record of 3:16.82s to win gold, while Vietnam came in second with 3:20.01s. 

At the previous 2023 edition in Cambodia, the Malaysian team finished with a silver medal.
