KUALA LUMPUR: Jayden Goh Li Jie and Loo Cheng Feng raised the flag for Malaysia on the first day of swimming competition at the South-East Asia (SEA) Championships, winning their respective pet events at the OCBC Aquatic Centre in Singapore yesterday.

Malaysia Games (Sukma) gold medallist Li Jie stormed to victory in the boys’ 16-18 100m butterfly with a time of 55.64s, edging Thailand’s Wongsakorn Patsamarn (55.71s) and the Philippines’ Albert Jose Amaro (55.72s).
