Ameeshenraj misses world meet due to pain on his feet


PETALING JAYA: C. Ameeshenraj (pic) just couldn’t get his footing right in the final of the World Championship Qualifiers (WCQ) Asia Region yesterday.

The 21-year-old fell short of making it to the world meet in Chicago from May 9-17 after losing 2-11, 4-11, 8-11 to India’s Veer Chotrani in 26 minutes at the University Malaya Wall Squash Complex.
