World No. 10 Sivasangari was sent packing in the first round of the Tournament of Champions against No. 17 Amanda Sobhy of the United States as the shocking result saw Sobhy win 11-4, 4-11, 11-6, 8-11, 11-9 on Thursday at the Grand Central Terminal in New York.
