Syafiq outsmarts close pal Addeen to march into final

PETALING JAYA: It was a slugfest between two good friends and in the end Mohd Syafiq Kamal prevailed over Addeen Idrakie.

Syafiq, the second seed, outlasted Addeen 10-12, 5-11, 11-4, 11-7, 11-4 in the semi-final of the SRAM PSA 6 tournament at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
