Sivasangari puts on steely show in New York comeback classic


PETALING JAYA: National squash ace S. Sivasangari (pic)showed steely resolve to reach her first Tournament of Champions quarter-finals in New York City after staging a dramatic comeback on Sunday.

The world No. 6 Sivasangari fought her way back from trailing two sets to win 6-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-4 in 55 minutes against world No. 11 Amanda Sobhy of the United States in the second round.
