Nafiizwan clears first hurdle in qualifying

PETALING JAYA: Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan put his recent disappointment behind him to inch closer towards a main draw spot at the British Open.

The national No. 1 did not have a great start to the year, losing in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open in London last week. The world No. 30 suffered a demoralising 11-9, 3-11, 8-11, 6-11 loss to world No. 35 Tom Richards of England.
