KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia booked a spot in the quarter-finals of the World Junior Team Squash Championships after edging past US 2-1 in the second round on Monday.

The juniors got off to a slow start in Windhoek, Namibia as the No.3 ranked player - Darren Chan struggled against Timothy Robert Brownell, losing 8-11, 3-11, 9-11 in 39 minutes.
