Chen Jie putting books aside as she aims to gun down gold in maiden SEA Games

BANGKOK: National rifle shooter Gan Chen Jie is taking her SEA Games debut so seriously that she has put her studies on hold – literally.

The 20-year-old from Negri Sembilan has deferred a semester at Help University to focus entirely on training, knowing that her first appearance on the regional stage Thailand marks a milestone she wants to honour with her best performance.
