Shooter Alia stuns with unexpected national record in 10m air rifle


PETALING JAYA: Shooter Alia Husna Budruddin can take confidence after being confirmed as the new national record holder in the women’s 10m air rifle following her performance at the Varsity Shooting Championships at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) in Kuala Lumpur.

Alia, when contacted, admitted she did not expect to break the national record in the event as her preferred discipline is the women’s 50m rifle three positions.
