Poor outing for our women in 10m pistol event at Olympic qualifiers


PETALING JAYA: Podium shooter Nurul Syasya Nadiah Ariffin and veterans Bibiana Ng and Joselin Cheah fared badly in the Asian Olympic qualifiers in Jakarta after finishing outside the top 25 of the women’s 10m pistol event on Monday.

Syasya, 21, scored 567 points and was placed 29th while Joselin was at No. 31 with 566 while Bibiana could only score 561 to occupy 42nd spot out of 49 shooters in the qualifying round.
