PETALING JAYA: Despite being a SEA Games record breaker, national rifle shooter Gan Chen Jie (pic) constantly reminds herself that reputation alone counts for little in shooting – consistency is what truly makes the difference.

Based on current form, the 21-year-old is in strong contention for a place at the upcoming Asian Games in Japan. However, Chen Jie insists she is far from a guaranteed selection and must continue delivering results on the international stage to secure her spot.
