Two shots left for shooters to reach Olympics after misfire in Cairo


PETALING JAYA: Johnathan Wong (pic) and Nurul Syasya Nadia Arifin’s first attempt at Olympic qualification failed to hit the target when they finished outside the top 50 in their respective 10m air pistol event at the World Shooting Championships in Cairo.

Johnathan, who was eyeing 580 points, could only register 573 to be placed 28th (of 63 shooters) in his group and 51st overall out of 128 shooters.
