Haritz guns down Malaysia's 50th SEA Games gold

BANGKOK: Haritz Ikhlil Hessly Hafiz rose to the occasion, firing Malaysia’s landmark 50th gold medal at the Thailand SEA Games in style.

The 25-year-old clinched the men’s rifle three positions gold by scoring 447.5 points in the final at the Thailand Sports Authority Shooting Range on Friday (Dec 19).

He shattered the Games record of 445.3 set by Thailand Napis Tortungpanich at the 2021 Hanoi SEA Games. 

Silver went to the Philippines Marat Veloso, who scored 446.6, while Indonesia’s Fathur Gustafian took bronze with a score of 437.3
