Podium Programme shooters can’t afford a misfire in Cairo

PETALING JAYA: The national shooters’ spots in the Podium Programme are under scrutiny when they compete at the World Shooting Championships in Cairo from Oct 12-25.

The trio of Johnathan Wong (men’s 10m pistol), Nurul Syasya Nadia Arifin (women’s 10m pistol) and Alia Sazana Azahari (25m pistol) will be trying to achieve the target of 580 points set for them in their respective events to justify their status as the Podium Programme athletes.
