PETALING JAYA: National shooter Mohd Lutfi Othman was gunning for three golds in the President Ally T. H. Ong Trophy meet but his dream was dashed due to measures taken to curb Covid-19.

Lutfi had won the men’s individual and team rifle 50m three-position at the National Subang Shooting Range last week and was at the brink of winning the third in the rifle 50m prone but the tournament was cut short after the National Shooting Association of Malaysia (NSAM) decided to scrap it - following the advisory from the Sports Commissioner to either postpone or cancel tournaments.
