Shot in the arm for taekwondo as funding approved


KUALA LUMPUR: Taekwondo Malaysia (TM) are motivated to continue achieving excellent results on the international stage after all their applications for funds to prepare for next year’s competitions, including the 2025 SEA Games, have been approved.

TM secretary-general R. Dhanaraj said the National Sports Council (NSC) had shown a positive reaction to TM’s proposals and requests, including adding athletes to existing programmes, as well as assistance in conducting new talent search programmes for taekwondo.
