Heavy’s the goal of snatching an Olympics medal, but Aniq’s intent on it

PETALING JAYA: Young weightlifter Mohd Aniq Kasdan has become the third Malaysian athlete to declare an intention to make the Olympic podium in Paris.

The reigning Commonwealth Games champion in the men’s 55kg category is optimistic he can bring back a medal if he manages to lift above 300kg and break his own national record in the process.
