PETALING JAYA: Sailor Khairulnizam Afendy will end 2023 on a positive note after delivering the only medal for Malaysia in the Asian Sailing Championships in Chonburi, Thailand.

The 30-year-old can take heart as his bronze medal campaign is all the encouragement he needs to put up a strong fight for a fourth straight Olympics appearance in Paris next year.
