Aruwin deserves pat on the back for top 40 finish

Aruwin Salehhuddin in Beijing

KUALA LUMPUR: National alpine skier Aruwin Salehhuddin ended her first challenge in the Beijing Winter Olympics by being in the top 40 in Run 2 of the women’s giant slalom event yesterday.

Despite being unable to take home any medal, Aruwin deserves a pat on the back as she managed to improve her position from 46th place in Run 1 earlier yesterday to finish 38th out of 60 skiers by setting a time of 2:12.28s for both Run 1 and Run 2.
