New timer system gets thumbs-up from champ Farah

KUALA LUMPUR: Top national lawn bowler Nor Farah Ain Abdullah (pic) has given the thumbs-up to the new format introduced in the Seven-Nation Invitational Lawn Bowls Championship.

Farah, representing Malaysia B, lived up to her billing by beating India’s Nayanmoni Saikia 2-1 to clinch the women’s singles title at Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara on Wednesday.
