KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Muaythai Association (MMA) plan to convert their exponent Mohd Rifdean Masdor (pic) to a boxer in an effort to help Malaysia qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics in boxing.
MMA president Datuk Mohd Shahnaz Azmi said although this would be a maiden experiment for the country, the move was widely practised in other South-east Asian countries, such as Thailand and Vietnam.
