MANILA: Malaysia won gold in the petanque competition for the men’s triples at the SEA Games in Angeles.

Mohd Hafizuddin Mat Daud, Syed Ali Syed Fikri and Musmin Saiful Bahri beat Thailand 13-11 in the final.
