Rachel qualifies for uneven bar final

PETALING JAYA: National gymnast Rachel Yeoh Li Wen will compete in the final of her pet event after a strong showing in the uneven bar qualification.

The 27-year-old Penangite scored 13.800 points with a difficulty of 5.6 to finish third out of 49 gymnasts at the Arena in Glasgow on Saturday.

It was also her career best score in the uneven bar as her previous best score was 13.300, which she did the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok.

Rachel joins Sharul Aimy in bid to make a mark in the sport. Sharul had earlier booked his final spots in the floor exercise and vault.
