BEFORE flying to Hangzhou, Mohd Sharul Aimy just wanted to get into the finals. He did much more by taking the bronze medal in the vault at the Yellow Dragon Sports Centre Gymnasium yesterday.

The 22-year-old Terengganu athlete with smoldering good looks showed he could mix it with the best in the region when he scored 14.466 points to finish third behind Japan’s Wataru Tanigawa (15.016) and Iran’s Mahdi Olfati (14.783).
