PETALING JAYA: Malaysian golfer Winnie Ng brought some early Merdeka joy to the nation after achieving a career breakthrough win in Thailand.

The 24-year-old rookie pro savoured a rare win by a Malaysian on Thai soil after winning the Singha Life Color Tour event in Nakhon Nayok.
