Two birdies lift Jeneath in safe flight going into final round


PETALING JAYA: Title holder Jeneath Wong of Malaysia carded a solid third round of two-under 70 as overnight leader Yang Yun-seo edged closer to becoming South Korea’s first champion at the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP).

Jeneath hit two birdies on the first and 10th holes for a bogey-free card at windy Royal Wellington Golf Club to finish in tied 17th place on one-under 215 with 18 holes remaining.
