TAYLORMADE Golf, an industry leader in equipment manufacture, have unveiled their latest Tour-level golf ball technology that is good too for the everyday player at an affordable price.
The 2022 Tour Response Stripe golf ball features TaylorMade’s Tour flight dimple pattern of the TP5 and TP5x.

Indeed, their engineers have designed the ball with their groundbreaking 360-degree alignment, allowing the Tour Response Stripe to unlock next-level aerodynamics while promoting maximum carry distance.
This Tour proven technology also features a unique dual-radius dimple shape that decouples dimple volume from depth to optimise airflow around the golf ball during flight, ultimately reducing drag, optimising lift and promoting distance.
“The Tour Response is engineered to respond to the individual non-Tour golfer’s game with a 100% cast urethane cover for significantly added greenside spin and better feel versus ionomer,” said TaylorMade Product Creation Golf Ball director Mike Fox.
“A cross-linking chemical reaction forms the soft urethane material, which creates an irreversible link for improved shear resistance and greater durability, in addition to the soft feel and added greenside spin.”
Tour inspiration from the TP5 and TP5x doesn’t stop there in the 2022 Tour Response Stripe. A firmer second layer surrounding the inner low compression core helps the ball “explode off the face with increased face interaction, maximising energy transfer at impact to produce faster ball speeds.
“The new dimple pattern paired with a 100% cast urethane cover simply creates a softer version of a Tour-level ball made for the everyday golfer that is looking to reap the benefits of our Tour proven technology at an affordable price,” added Fox.

Fox said the Tour Response Stripe will give golfers the feedback needed to boost their performance on the greens.

The Tour Response Stripe comes with a suggested retail price tag of RM232 a dozen.
