KUALA LUMPUR: Paris 2024 Olympics-bound diver Bertrand Rhodict remains buoyant despite surprisingly finishing third in the men’s 10m platform at the Malaysian Open.

Bertrand, who is the only Malaysian diver to qualify for the Paris Games so far, fell short of his own high standards after collecting 366.35 points to settle for bronze behind compatriot Jellson Jabillin (406.00) and Uzbekistan’s Igor Myalin (428.55) at the National Aquatics Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
