Diving pair Wendy Ng-Nur Dhabitah get silver at Asian Games

HANGZHOU: Wendy Ng Yan Yee-Nur Dhabitah Sabri delivered the silver medal for Malaysia in the women’s 3m springboard synchro final at Hangzhou Aquatic Sports Centre.

The Malaysian pair finished the five-dive contest 270.27 points behind China's reigning world champions Cheng Yani-Chen Yiwen, who amassed 335.73, on Sunday (Oct 1).

South Korean pair Park Har-eum-Kim Su-ji took bronze with 253.56 points.

It is the second medal for Dhabitah in Hangzhou having partnered Pandelela Rinong to take bronze in the women's 10m platform synchro on Saturday (Sept 30).

Dhabitah will dive in the women's 1m springboard individual on Oct 2, with newcomer Ong Ker Ying.
