Cycling star Azizul signs off after a season of triumphs

PETALING JAYA: There was no final flourish for Azizulhasni Awang at the World Championships in Shanghai, but the Malaysian cycling star can still look back on a season to remember.

The 38-year-old’s campaign ended after he narrowly missed out on the quarter-finals of the men’s individual sprint, losing to Britain’s Harry Ledingham-Horn in their second-round race at the Shanghai Velodrome.
