Positive cycle continues: Azizulhasni Awang posing at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

PETALING JAYA: Veteran cyclist Azizulhasni Awang’s continuing rise in the UCI world rankings for men’s elite sprint has raised the interesting question of whether he is game to take another shot at the Olympics in 2028.

Azizul has moved up more than 10 spots and is now ranked 13th in the world on 2,700 points, thus cementing his status as the national No. 1 track rider after more than a year’s absence.
